This is a very strange and unique guitar pedal. It's a combination of controlled white noise and fuzz. I've had it for a few years, done some recording with it, and I think it's ready for a new home. I don't think I've ever come across another pedal like this one.
This is one of those pedals that is amazing to have in your chain if you're willing to put it in the right place and fine tune it to your liking. Checkout YouTube videos about it.
Vendor details: The Air Traffic Controller is a somewhat experimental fuzz / distortion / filter / noise hybrid. Its core concept is to mix a distortion (or fuzz) circuit with a white noise generator (“hiss”) and then sculpt that combined signal through a low-pass filter. The filter cutoff behavior (i.e. how the low-pass opens and closes) is not static... depending on the settings, it can sound synthy, or just borderline unpredictable. The white noise is blended in such a way that it responds dynamically to your playing.
