The Christmas Collection started in 1981. It came with red or green trim, a brass commemorative tag and until 1990 was the basket only - no liner or protector (with the single exception of 1985 which came with a muslin liner).
This 1999 Hostess Pinecone bundle includes:
~ The basket - measures 13"RD x 6.25"H and has crisscross red and green trim; it has two leather handles on the sides. It is in great vintage condition - nothing broken. It was seasonally displayed and then put in smoke-free storage.
~ A two-piece protector set - the divided part sits in the top of a regular protector - also great condition.
~ A solid WoodCrafts lid with a red knob.
~ The original Holly pattern liner - also great condition. (used without the lid)
Great for serving a crowd or using as a holiday gift-holding display basket - unlimited uses!
