Wonderful mid-century modern avocado green enameled 'Lotus' round platter or decorative tray made by Cathrineholm of Norway.
The platter measures a little over 12 inches (31 cm) in diameter and weighs almost 2 pounds before packaging. It is unmarked. Made of porcelainized enamel (per manufacturer). There is no enamel added to the edges. Per Cathrineholm, this was done purposely to prevent chipping.

There are several visible light scratches, pitting, and small paint loss on the back of the item. Please see all the photos. The front appears free from noticeable defects. Glossy finish. Clean edges. It displays beautifully.
The colorful and joyful ‘Lotus’ enamelware series, produced between 1963 and 1965, is the most recognizable midcentury kitchenware by the Norwegian company Catherineholm.
