This is a rare set of Antique Brownfield & Sons Floral Urn Salad/Dessert plates.
These feature a distinctive floral urn design with a rust-colored edge and gold accents.
Plates with this specific pattern (BSF2/148) were manufactured between 1878 and 1880.
These plates are in really great vintage condition but will have faint surface scratches and some fading due to age. I do think this set is holding the color very, very well considering the age. Please see photos.
